Studied architecture at the Polytechnic of St. Petersburg and UEL, London before finishing at the TVB School of Habitat Studies in New Delhi. His last two years of architectural education were devoted to transport architecture. Daljit Singh has apprenticed in England under Michael Hopkins who is famous for his architectural work for the design of the Glyndebourne Opera House, the new stand at Lord’s Stadium (MCC) and the new Parliament Building in London.
Daljit started Absolute Architecture with friends Aditi Mehra&Rasna Kame in 2003 and since 2006 has been running the studio independently. He has extensive experience working on MRTS and other urban infrastructure systems, having handled the transport related projects for the studio.
